Felipe Pantone opened a impressive exhibition of new work at Backwoods Gallery. The solo exhibition titled “Stereodynamica” references and one of the key concepts when viewing the work is the artists use of stereoscopy and stereograms. Felipe Pantone who in previous work references multiple aspects of 3d modeling, Glitch, and motion graphics has now expanded these concepts to create intense new works based on the idea of 2 paintings creating a 3d effect through the stereograms. Understanding the underlying concept of the work allows the viewer to experience the work first as a painting and possibly reading each painting one at a time which is traditionally how we view … Read entire story.

“The Naked Emperor” by Edward von Lõngus in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. A modern illustration to the well known story of Emperor whose clothes turned out to be the figment of collective imagination. This piece reflects on the hypocriticism of political culture and works as reminder that under their suit every politician is naked. http://evl-genius.blogspot.com https://www.facebook.com/EdwardvonL6ngus Read entire story.

We talked to Moneyless in the Fall of 2014 about his signature geometric style and what might be in store for 2015. He mentioned a new direction, something he was searching for as well as a move towards something new. Well we now know atleast what direction he is headed with his first mural for 2015 painted this week in Rome. Moneyless has taken to reduction with his signature marks further minimizing an already stripped down aesthetic. Very impressed with Moneyless and his ability to always move first before its too late, progressing as well as deconstructing even the most signature of marks. Bravo GF Read entire story.
