A few months ago, Wizkid hinted at dropping more “heat on the way with Drake.” And it looks like the Nigerian singer has kept his promise. Over the weekend, a new song titled, “Hush up the Silence” featuring Drake, surfaced. Drake planned to release one more project to close out 2016, but his fans will have to wait a while longer for More Life. Miss Info and 2DopeBoyz report that on Saturday’s episode of Drake’s OVO Sound Radio show on Beats 1, producer/collaborator Oliver El-Khatib revealed that Drake’s upcoming project More Life has been pushed back to early 2017. El-Khatib said Drake has been working around the clock to complete the record, which he announced in October. “I’m off like mixtapes, I want to do a playlist. Wow, as if nothing else can get better for the Canadian-born pop star, Drake has broken another record in 2016. For this years American Music Awards Mr. Graham is up for a total of 13 nominations, breaking the record for most AMAs nominations in a single year. The previous record holder was Michael Jackson who earned 11 nominations in 1984. Needless to say, Drake will more than likely walk away with at least one award seeing as he’s never won an AMA before.
