Titled Music Is My Mistress, the almost 13 minute video tells a non-linear story centered around artist Kelsey Lu, actor Jesse Williams and actress Tracie Ellis Ross, with Williams searching for Ross (who is described as “African royalty”) throughout Los Angeles. A new book tells the story of a slave that escaped George Washington‘s Philadelphia mansion, and never got caught. Titled Never Caught: The Washingtons’ Relentless Pursuit of their Runaway Slave, Ona Judge, the book sheds some light on Ona Judge, a slave that traveled with the Washingtons following George’s election as president from Mount Vernon to Philadelphia. A 19-year-old has become the youngest person to ever run for office in Georgia. In a report from Fox 5 Atlanta, Mary-Pat Hector has been added to the ballot list as a candidate for the new city of Stonecrest’s election for City Council. Hector was at first challenged by her opponent George Turner, who argued that Hector’s campaign broke Georgia law (candidates must be 21 or older, unless a city ordinance states otherwise). A flight attendant has saved a passenger from human trafficking. Alaska Airlines flight attendant Shelia Fedrick rescued a teenager from being the victim of human trafficking, during a flight from Seattle to San Francisco, back in 2011.
